Über Evean Oostergouw

Evean Oostergouw is a nursing home where approximately 250 vulnerable elderly people live temporarily or permanently. The physiotherapy of Oostergouw is looking for ways to get clients to exercise more. Clients are often no longer able to exercise or move independently, making them dependent on guidance. We are looking for volunteers who would like to supervise an exercise activity.
There are various exercise activities such as: table tennis, walking, badminton, side-by-side bicycles, billiards, darts, moving to music, etc.
Being able to exercise extra is of great added value for the clients, in addition, the clients also enjoy social contact during the exercise activity. For them it is one of the highlights of their week.
We discuss the frequency, day, time and duration of the activity with you and we are happy with any support. As an organization, we find it important that both our clients and our volunteers have a good time.
