Über Stichting SAIL Amsterdam

With the backdrop of the international Tall Ships, SAIL is the largest public event in the Netherlands. Since 1975, SAIL has become the largest free nautical event in Europe. Every five years, more than 600 ships sail through the North Sea Canal to moor in and around the IJ harbor. But SAIL is more than a five-day event once every five years.

We invite everyone to be a part of SAIL Amsterdam 2020 and to jointly further enrich the event in which connection, innovation and wonder are central. Be welcome!
