Über Terre des Hommes Winkel Goes

Terre des Hommes' mission is to stop child exploitation, the most serious violations of the rights of the child. Not an easy battle, because poverty sometimes drives people to despair and prosecuting perpetrators of child exploitation is often not a priority for local authorities. But Terre des Hommes does not simply give up and, together with its local partners, continues to work for a world without child exploitation.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child forms the basis for our work. In helping children we make no distinction according to race, religion, gender or political affiliation. Because every child has the right to grow up in a safe environment without exploitation.
In 2019, around 45 employees in The Hague, 64 local colleagues in the two regions and nearly 2000 volunteers in the Netherlands are committed every day to stop child exploitation. Tens of thousands of donors and companies are behind them. Together they will realize one dream: a world without child exploitation. The shops are an active part of the organization. Our stores make donations possible in the form of giving things, buying things and giving your time. The proceeds from our stores go entirely to our projects.
With our stores, we ensure that unused items end up properly again. In Goes we focus on clothing, accessories, the most beautiful things to set the table with, books and wooden toys.
Goes has a large group of committed volunteers. For this team we are looking for enthusiastic volunteer shop employees.
If you would like to contribute to our store and if you have other talents than we describe below, do not hesitate to approach us. We like to think along with you.
