Über People & Planet

People & Planet is the largest student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment.

We’re a student-led movement that empowers young people with the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to make change happen, at home and globally.

We work with a flat management structure (non-hierarchical) which means we don't have a CEO and all the staff are co-directors with 1 salary. We run a 12 month paid internship once a year and work with around 70 self-organising and autonomous student groups. We refer to these students as the People & Planet network.

We run both national and international campaigns on social and climate justice issues and we also publish a league table table each year that ranks all UK universities on their sustainability commitment, policy and performance.
