Local RSPCA branch which works to protect animals. From endangered whales to fairground goldfish, from pet cats to circus lions, we are on a mission to promote compassion for all creatures. Everything we do supports our goal of preventing cruelty and all our successes drive us to continue making life-changing differences. The RSPCA clinic in Cambridge provides a subsidised veterinary medicine service for pets of people who are in receipt of means-tested benefits. The branch also re-homes animals.

Please remember our shops if you're having a clear-out or need to do something with your unwanted Christmas presents.
We can sell all kinds of items to raise funds for local animals.
At the moment our shops particularly need:
Winter clothes
Footwear
Party clothes (including fancy dress)
Books (especially older ones - for example, if you're disposing of a collection as part of a house-clearance)
Books can be taken to either of our two Cambridge shops but not Newmarket as that shop has very little shelf space.
Thank you very much for your help!

Currently, our most urgent need is for volunteers to help at our shops. We have three of these:
10A Market Street, Newmarket, CB8 8EE
61 Burleigh Street, Cambridge, CB1 1DJ
188 Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 3LP
The shop at 188 Mill road specialises in second-hand books and the other two are general charity shops.
